Your hosts, Helen and Mark, have invested a great amount of time and energy into creating a very special African safari holiday experience for their guests.
It’s fair to say that they were inspired by their own first visit to Marloth Park – they were captivated by the level of freedom and intimacy with nature that this amazing destination offers. Five days after their arrival, they found and purchased what is now known as Blue Goose Bush Retreat, and they want to give others the opportunity to enjoy their special haven too.
The Blue Goose was named, and its logo created, from the mosaic mural at the back door, and this beautiful property is a unique combination of safari meets modern style and convenience. Helen and Mark want their guests to feel at home, with all the comforts they normally enjoy, while indulging in the extra luxury that Blue Goose Bush Retreat provides.
They have created a home with thoughtful extras and attention to detail, ensuring that you feel welcome when you arrive at Blue Goose and want for nothing while you are there.

LIKED: We did not want for anything, everything was perfect. Very well and thoughtfully provisioned with good quality stuff. Lots of wildlife visitors like Kudu and Zebra which was awesome.
LIKED: From the friendly and informative Host Liresia and her staff that keep the house in great condition, to the beautiful home which had everything we needed and was decorated so beautifully, the sparkling swimming pool and stunning boma it was all fantastic. It catered for loadshedding with solar panels and we were never inconvenienced. But best of all we were honoured to have Kudu, Wildebees, Impala and Bush Pigs visiting us regularly and interacting with us. Bird life is amazing and shy Nagapies stared on at us from a distance. Marloth Park itself is a wonderful place. It was a very peaceful and quiet piece of heaven.
LIKED: When we arrived we were greeted with a friendly smile by Liresia, the place was clean and tidy. The layout is so practical and I love the fact that each room has its own bathroom makes everything so convenient. The veranda is lovely with an amazing view and the animals aren't afraid to join us. We even got to feed some of the animals. An amazing experience.
