Helen and Mark, the dedicated hosts of Blue Goose Bush Retreat, have invested significant time and passion into crafting a memorable African safari experience for their guests. Inspired by their own visit to Marloth Park, they fell in love with its wildlife and tranquil environment, offering an unmatched sense of connection to nature. Within just five days of their arrival, they found and purchased the land that would become Blue Goose Bush Retreat, driven by their desire to share this exceptional destination with others.
The name "Blue Goose" and its logo were inspired by the striking mosaic mural found at the property’s back door. This lodge combines the allure of the African wilderness with modern amenities and stylish design, allowing guests to enjoy the best of both worlds. Helen and Mark have designed every detail with care, ensuring that you have all the comforts of home alongside the luxuries of a premier bush retreat.

LIKED: Everything
LIKED: A great holiday house in Marloth Park. Well equipped. Lots of wildlife came to visit. The house has solar which meant we didn't have any loadshedding
LIKED: Alles! Schade, dass wir nur einen Tag Zeit hatten
(Everything! It's a pity we only had one day)
LIKED: From the friendly and informative Host Liresia and her staff that keep the house in great condition, to the beautiful home which had everything we needed and was decorated so beautifully, the sparkling swimming pool and stunning boma it was all fantastic. It catered for loadshedding with solar panels and we were never inconvenienced. But best of all we were honoured to have Kudu, Wildebees, Impala and Bush Pigs visiting us regularly and interacting with us. Bird life is amazing and shy Nagapies stared on at us from a distance. Marloth Park itself is a wonderful place. It was a very peaceful and quiet piece of heaven.
